Empirical Evidence about the Impact of Design Pattern on Software Quality: A Systematic Literature Review

we performed a systematic literature review with the goal to gather empirical evidence, synthesize, and present the findings based on proposed research questions. As the results, we identified 42 primary studies from the initially retrieved 2,832 peer-reviewed papers. Here, we provide summplement information reffered in the paper.

A-1 Quality Attributes - The quality attributes that appear in our paper.

A-2 GoF 23 Design Patterns - The design pattern names and their short descriptions.

A-3 Quality Assessment Questions - The list of questions for evaluting the articles.

A-4 Distribution of Papers - The sources of papers that we selected along with the propotional.

A-5 Data Extraction Form - Data Extraction Form that we used in the SLR. This page provide all items and their descriptions.

A-6 The Study Detail - The detila of each study along with the measurements, which researchers used to measure the effects of design patterns.

A-7 Summary of the impacts on software quality attributes

In addition, we list the excluded articles that we eliminated during performing the systamtatic review. We eleminated those articles based on the abstract and full-text.

E-1 Excluded articles based on the abstract

E-2  Excluded articles based on the full text
